Which Tattoo Design Should I Choose?

Tattoos used to be quite rare, but now as celebrities have shown off theirs and as youngsters want to ‘rebel’ and get one done, then they are a lot more common. Yet choosing a tattoo can be really difficult, often there are only small selections at the tattoo parlor for you to look through, or you could go online to find one you like and then pay for the right to use that design. Below we discuss some of the most popular tattoo designs that you might be interested in.

Stars are one of the simplest designs you can get, yet they can add a nice highlight to areas of your body, or they can be combined with other things to make a more complex and beautiful design. The hip is a popular place to have some stars, or you could have a line down each side of your stomach to highlight that area.

Dragons are another really popular tattoo design, both the western style and the eastern style of dragon. Dragons are portrayed as wise, powerful and magical creatures, which is probably why they are so popular, not to mention they are beautiful and can be shaped to fit almost any area you want.

Tribal tattoos are simple and yet bold, and they are more popular at the moment with guys than gals. As they are simple then less can go wrong with them, if you have something complex then by the end of it sometimes a face or animal etc can end up drawn badly which ruins it. They tend to symbolize power and strength because they look like the tattoos on warriors from hunter-gatherer tribes.

Flowers are quite like stars, you can use them singly to highlight an area or you can use lots of them and cherry blossoms tattooincorporate other elements to make a beautiful and complex design. Plus as there are so many unique colors and shapes for flowers then you can find one to suit almost any taste, and they all look beautiful. Probably the most popular flower design at the moment is the beautiful cherry blossom tattoo.

The final design is the cross, which remains popular even though fewer and fewer people are religious. I don’t know if the popularity of this tattoo endures because none of us really know what happens when we die, or if it symbolizes something else to the people who have it.

Remember getting inked is permanent,  research  and know all the facts, BEFORE ever getting one as it is a life time commitment.
